Samantha’s practice is focused on helping families navigate conflict with clarity, compassion, and practical solutions. She is known for being empathetic and efficient while remaining a strong and strategic advocate in court when necessary. Her training in social work allows her to understand not only the legal issues at play but also the emotional and relational dynamics that families face during separation and transition.

Outside of work, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family, being in nature, playing and listening to music, and volunteering in the community.

Professional Experience

Samantha previously served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia, where she taught family law, and continues to appear as a guest speaker.

Samantha regularly presents at legal conferences and currently serves as an editor of the Family Law Practice Manual. Her work has been previously published in the Canadian Family Law Quarterly.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Samantha worked as a social worker — a background that deeply informs her approach to family law.
