Samantha Simpson

Samantha Simpson (She/Her)

Samantha is the co-founder of Sena Law. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Social Work from McGill University, a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Victoria. Samantha’s educational background and previous career as a social worker deeply inform her approach to family law. Since becoming a lawyer, Samantha has also received certification as a mediator, arbitrator, parenting coordinator, and collaborative family lawyer and acts in those capacities while also maintaining a litigation practice.

Samantha’s practice is focused on helping families navigate conflict with clarity, compassion, and practical solutions. She is known for being empathetic and efficient while remaining a strong and strategic advocate in court when necessary. Her training in social work allows her to understand not only the legal issues at play but also the emotional and relational dynamics that families face during separation and transition.

In addition to her legal practice, Samantha previously served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia, where she taught family law, and continues to appear as a guest speaker. Samantha regularly presents at legal conferences and currently serves as an editor of the Family Law Practice Manual. Samantha enjoys writing on all things family law related, and her work has been previously published in the Canadian Family Law Quarterly.

Outside of work, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family, being in nature, playing and listening to music, and volunteering in the community.

Kelsey Beazer

Kelsey Beazer (She/Her)

Kelsey Beazer is a founding partner of Sena Law, where she provides solution-focused, client-centered advocacy in complex and sensitive family law matters. Kelsey practices across all areas of family law, with particular expertise in high-conflict parenting disputes and complex financial matters, including intricate corporate holdings, business valuations, and multi-layered asset division. Known for her insightful, pragmatic approach, she helps clients navigate both the legal and human complexities of separation and divorce with clarity and confidence.

An experienced litigator, Kelsey has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia. She is also a certified mediator, arbitrator, and parenting coordinator.

A recognized leader in the family law community, Kelsey frequently speaks at forums such as the National Family Law Conference and Continuing Legal Education BC. She serves on the policy and procedures committee of the BC Parenting Coordinators Roster Society, the editorial board for Financial Issues in Family Law, and is a past co-chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s Family Law Subsection. She has contributed to several leading family law texts in British Columbia, including the Family Law Act Transition Guide, the Family Law Sourcebook, and the Family Law Practice Manual.

Kelsey has been named by Best Lawyers in Canada and Doyle’s Guide as one of the leading family lawyers in British Columbia.

Outside of her practice, Kelsey serves on the Board of Directors for Curious Creations, a non-profit theatre company; coaches youth volleyball, and often drives her children to their many activities—experiences that continue to shape her grounded, client-focused approach.

Ludmila Cliett

Ludmila Cliett (She/Her)

Ludmila Cliett is Associate Counsel at Sena Law. Called to the bar in 2011, she has assisted clients in navigating a wide range of family law disputes, including those pertaining to parenting arrangements, property division, and support claims. She has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia.

Ludmila is prepared to litigate when necessary but also recognizes that many family law matters are best resolved outside the courtroom. She is committed to helping clients achieve fair and efficient outcomes through negotiation and mediation whenever possible.

Ludmila holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies from Dalhousie University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria. Originally from Argentina, she is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Outside of her legal practice, Ludmila enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring the North Shore trails with her dog, Bingo.

Eira Glover (She/Her)

Eira has practiced exclusively in the area of family law since being called to the bar in 2025. Eira utilizes her background in psychology and her interest in well-being to handle all family law matters with a humanistic and trauma-informed approach. Eira graduated from the University of British Columbia Law School in 2024 and, while there, was the recipient of the Jack Giles, Q.C. Award in Advocacy and the Barbara Bluman Memorial Prize in Dispute Resolution. Whether assisting clients with out-of-court settlements or on her feet in the courtroom, she approaches all areas of her practice with empathy, skill, and attention to detail.

When not engaged with work, Eira can be found barefoot in the dirt, on a yoga mat, with community, or, most thrillingly, discovering the wonders of the world alongside her remarkable little toddler.
