Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This policy explains how the Sena Law website collects and uses information about visitors. It covers this website only. It does not describe how our firm handles files, records, or communications for people we represent as clients, which are governed by our professional obligations as lawyers rather than by this page.
Who We Are
This website is operated by Sena Law LLP, 503-815 Hornby Street, Vancouver, BC V6Z 2E6. You can reach us at info@senalaw.ca.
Information We Collect
Cloudflare Web Analytics runs on every page. It counts visits and measures site performance without using cookies and without collecting information that identifies you.
Google Analytics runs only if you accept cookies through the banner shown on your first visit. If you accept, Google Analytics collects standard usage information such as pages viewed, general location, device type, and how you arrived at the site. We turn on IP anonymization, and Google Analytics does not run at all if you decline or before you make a choice.
Our fonts are served through Google Fonts. Loading a page on our site sends your browser's IP address to Google as part of fetching those font files, which is a standard part of how web fonts work.
Cloudflare, the company that hosts this site, keeps standard server logs of requests (such as IP address, browser type, and time of visit) for security and reliability purposes.
Information We Do Not Collect
This website has no forms, no user accounts, and no login. We do not ask visitors to submit personal or contact information through the site itself. If you reach out to us, it is by email or phone, using the contact details you choose to provide.
Your Cookie Choice
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page, which reopens the banner and lets you choose again.
Third-Party Services We Link To
Some pages link out to services we use to run our practice, including Microsoft Bookings for scheduling appointments, Clio for online invoice payment, and our profiles on LinkedIn and Best Lawyers. Once you follow one of these links, you leave our website and that service's own privacy policy applies. We recommend reviewing those policies before you provide any information there.
How Long We Keep Information
Google Analytics deletes the detailed data it collects after a set period. We use Google's standard retention settings: individual event records are kept for two months, and data tied to a particular visitor is kept for up to 14 months. Aggregate figures, such as how many people visited and which pages were popular, are kept longer so we can compare one period to another. Cloudflare's server logs and Cloudflare Web Analytics data are retained on Cloudflare's own standard schedule for security and performance purposes.
Your Rights
As a business operating in British Columbia, we handle personal information in accordance with the BC Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to ask questions about how it is collected and used. To make a request, contact our privacy contact below.
No Client Testimonials
In keeping with Law Society of British Columbia rules, this website does not publish client testimonials or reviews.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the website changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
